Droning on endlessly about a group of people that are exercising their right to live as they please without infringing on your rights is also unpleasant by nature.

Gay people aren't going anywhere. Suck it up and move on people. All this carping and whining has become boring. Find a new cause to complain about.

Some clarification is in order.

What exactly is "unpleasant, ugly or repugnant": sexual acts of homosexuality, or something else, such as a man's unrequited desire for another man?

And are we including female homosexuality in this discussion, or is this really only about sodomy?

Gay-activists like to say that this revulsion comes from the Bible. But that's not entirely true. It is an intrinsic fact of nature. Whether you want to admit it or not, God's law is written on all of our hearts.

The "anti-nature" aspect of homosexuality indicates that it will never be accepted.

What do you think?
Meh, one of my roommates is lesbian and I've never been weirded out by her kissing her girlfriend. I've also got a gay friend and he and his boyfriend act the same in public as a straight couple. As in a kiss or hug here and there but nothing else. Hell, I think I've seen more straight people doing more sexual things in public.

It doesn't really bother me, I've got better things to worry about. Not even gonna get into the whole "unnatural" thing since others have already pointed out that homosexuality occurs in other species as well.

DD summed it up nicely. Pick a new cause to fight about, you're on the losing end of history here.

Many Germans were saying the same thing during Hitler's reign I am absolutely certain.

Fighting and killing occurs in nature too. That is repulsive.

Unless you are saying that you enjoy killing and fighting, but that's your choice.
Animals kill for food and fight for dominance in a group, it is extremely rare to see an animal kill just to kill.

Bonobo monkeys are a lot less violent than humans are. Humans are basically between gorillas and bonobos, we have a medium level of aggression and compassion.

I would absolutely say that homosexuals (male and female) also share this unfavorable attitude towards themselves. Or, this aspect of themselves.

I am heterosexual but I do not find homosexuality unpleasant. I don't find it "anything." I think that, for some folks, if you are heterosexual, you might find the thoughts of yourself having sex with your own gender to be "unpleasant." I don't think that's a big deal. I'm sure many gays find the thought of having sex with members of their opposite gender to be unpleasant also. Having sex with anyone you are not attracted to is unpleasant.

After that, your thoughts are truly dictated by societal mores that you've been raised with. If you are taught to find it repulsive, you probably will unless you're a "thinker."

#1 Humans are animals

#2 What makes you think we're so morally superior to other animals?
