LOL. And you completely miss the point of this thread. This is probably a thread in which you should do more listening than talking.

.

And the above poster reminded me of how much I absolutely LOATHE the use of "tard" as a pejorative.
Oh I totally agree. "Turd" is much more civil.

Insulting people you disagree with like this is exactly part of the point the OP is trying to make about people not being civil.

Actually I thought it was pretty funny considering how many cranks here think that there is a vast conspiracy against them, as they post all their ideas from their home computers showing where they are located. The tin foil hatters seem to think that these conspiracies can discover secrets and eliminate wealthy public figures with impunity...but some how lonely crazy people on public forums (or street corners) escape their notice.

2. Obama supporters are communists.

Many Obama supporters do believe in the fundamentals behind communism.

5. Democrats/Republicans are stupid.

Both parties are filled with idiots because they think they fighting each other when both parties are controlled by the same people, stupid.

6. Obama should be impeached for violating the U.S. constitution. NDAA among other things.

7. Yes they are, both parties are ridiculous authoritarians.

8. Maybe, maybe not.

Their is a conspiracy against the american people of sorts, its just to take yer wealth though. I guess no biggy???

700 billion bailout to the banks that was seen by all, much more under the covers so to speak.

The international mega banks control the USA. If you were willing to do the research you would see the same thing.

Read Creature of Jekyll Island and tell me there is no conspiracy.

I have a bit, simply because I couldn't finish something that made me laugh so hard that the author thought it was real, and it works equally as well for international bankers, the Illuminati, mole people, and house cats. It is a pure paranoid schizophrenics word salad.

Glad I got it from the library...which is odd for a library controlled by the government to have a book that "exposes the conspiracy".

If it were cats I can add to their premise as well. Look at what people buy, they are all shiny (gold, diamonds, shiny cars to transport cats). If you are on welfare the only thing you can afford is cat food, because they want to make sure even the lowest person knows cats are in charge...and no matter what the cats can be fed.

The difference between reality and crazy people is that in reality things need to be proven true. I can't convince you there is no conspiracy any more then I can convince you that there is no loch ness monster, men in black, or Nazi UFOs. Just like an old neighbor thought my dog was a CIA agent in disguise trying to keep tabs on her...there was no way to convince her he was just a dog.

You won't find civility in this forum but you will get used to it. Yes, it makes rational debate kind of useless here - but you can still have fun.

I cannot believe what posters (including myself) can get by with in this forum - but not in others. I kind of like it.

Biggest problem here...are the "Know-It-Alls." The only threads I pay attention to are the ones that I have an interest or knowledge about. Some of these folks post in every single solitary thread. And in every last one of them.. they're the expert. Because they read an article once... I wish just once someone would come in and get actual information and attempt to LEARN something....
