Either conservatives support medicare, or they don't. conservatives by huge numbers love medicare.

Medicare is a massive government program that requires every American over 65 to be in the program. I don't think you can even opt out. That is HUGE government, and yet conservatives love medicare.

The ACA bill sets up state markets with private insurance companies in which the vast majority of people won't be enrolled.

Now again based on objective reality a person cannot support Medicare and then say they hate the ACA bill because its big government. That is a lie. conservatives are liars.

I also oppose the nativist racism that underlies so much of the Tea Party position, but since that isn't a formal tenet I can't assign it a number.
The Tea Party platform is just a bunch of talking points which have nothing to do with their actions on the ground.

The nation gave tea parties a chance in 2010 on their talking points of jobs and the debt etc....then we all saw that the tea party actually stood for birtherism, racism, abortion bills, vaginal probes, birth control, legitimate rape, hate against non white people, attack on women rights etc.

There is a reason the word Tea Party was not mentioned at RNC12 and that Karl Rove is now fighting the American Taliban

Default The timing of their emergence

A black man gets elected to run this country, and suddenly these bigots are hysterical. Where in the hell were they during the previous 8 years when Bush was decimating this country? Spending was out of control. A surplus was being turned into a record deficit. Health care crisis was being ignored. Illegal immigration was unchecked. Wall Street abuses were out of control. Housing crisis. Mortgage crisis. Taxes were low, but fees were out of control. The foreign policy was far worse.

The timing of their emergence speaks volumes about the idiocy of their entire agenda...which is essentially designed to oppose the black President, who happens to be an incredible man and an extraordinarily effective leader of this country.

The tea party is as undesirable as the Klan, and it really is hard to distinguish the two.

Changes nothing. Facts are facts. The rules are the same. Not getting what you want is not discrimination, it is just not getting what you want.

It is sad that people like you con't have a clue what is going on. I'll give you a clue, and see if you can catch on.

There are many institution and elements that make a country, a culture, a nation more than just a collection of people occupying the same turf. For example a commonality of language, religion, etc., as well as institution such as marriage. Weaken thost elements, and you weaken the nation.

The assaults on the institution of marriage are just attempts to weaken our nation, to render it vulnerable. It isn't more complicated than that. It is one of the many prongs of the pitchfork yeilded by "progressives" so thay can weaken theUSA and take it over and re-create it in their own image.

Marriage that expands to encompass "same-sex" is meaningless. Soon it will have no meaning whatsoever, except as a means to get bennies, but the damage will have been done.

Perhaps you are one of the progressives working feverishly to weaken America?

Are you?

To be honest, it takes a pretty foolish person to honestly think that re-defining marriage to include same-sex, will possbiley strengthen America.

Just so you know, I am against re-defining marriage to include same sex, multiple wives, multiple husbands, bonds between simblings, parents-child or any other manner of changeing it from one-man, one-woman, (non-blood related).

That is important so you know it isn't anti-homosexual, but pro-marriage that my position is based upon.

Your ignorance is showing. The TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party is about reducing the power and control of government, not enhancing it.

The TEA Party is a SINGLE ISSUE PAC. They have nothing to say about social issues. The TEA Party only wants government spending and taxes to be reduced.

We all know what the TP stands for and it is nothing to do with taxes. Even the advent under the guise of the Boston Tea party (not a political party) was a sham. Bush gave you tax breaks and Obama did not take them away in 2009. The REAL reason was that white folk were scared a (oh noez) black man was in charge and even while he had all three tiers of govt in Dem hands, no major turn arounds were enacted. Obama was/is a Bush lite in reality reaching across the aisle to unify but you racist twits could not see beyond your bigotry. As a result, you have crippled the GOP and made yourselves irrelevant. No one wants the ****e you lot are peddling.

We also have a two party system so does the UK. This is a mere deflection. The independents are disenfranchised republicans as are the libertarians. Both still probably vote GOP. Where you are offering idiots as candidates, yup, in 2010 you managed to get them elected. 2014 will be different as the folk want these morons out. The GOP pandered to the TP ideals and saw their ass big time in 2012. You cannot now simply change political philosophy mid stride as the folk you have disenfranchised will remember. You still hate brown people, you hate Mexicans, you hate Cubans, you hate gays, you want to canvass in the state of uterus and you have pissed off too many folk. The recovery will be a long slow process and you will need a real leader. Problem is, like Romney, the good stuff the GOP embrace, the Dems already embrace.

The Dems are as much in the pocket of the corporate lobbyists as the GOP, they just are more astute.

The sad thing is that the US is very much divided and as it now stands, you probably need another 9-11 or another war to unite you all.

If you get over the GAGG factor and then focus on real solutions and governance, maybe then things will change. If you see it the way I do, Obama won the last election playing on your turf and to your rules. Just look how many lost seats because of their stupid abortion related statements. Speaking of which, in 40 years no GOP president has attempted to overturn RvW. That is just political suicide. Yet you twits INSIST on debating canvassing on a settled issue.

Allowing LGBT equal rights as far as marriage goes, is not going to reverse the poles, the sky will not fall.

Gunz and God are all that is left. You folk will have to settle the Gunz issue and as for God, well he certainly has not made any moves in the last 2000 years and probably never will mainly b/c he does not exist except in the minds of men and women.

There are far more important global issues that affect us all that should be on the radar screen. GAGG are mere distractions.

1) I don't "hate" anyone, but disagree with much of what the Tea Party stands for. Its not that point or another, but a general feeling.
2) I challenge anyone to bring examples of large societies or countries that live successfully following Tea Party principles. I couldn't find any. And there is a good reason for that: it will lead to disintegration of any society.

What tenet of the TEA Party do you oppose the most?

Their embracement of hypocrisy and ignorance. It also doesn't help that they tend to have soft spots for unabashed racists.
