Why not throw out the TV and do something productive instead?
You mean there's nothing you would rather be doing than watching a crappy, staged game? Don't you have dreams? Aren't you worried about the current state of this country?
Why are you posting on CD?
And LOL at "staged game". You're funny. You think everything you don't agree with or like is staged.
A: Imagine the amount of people that show up to a single pre-season game, instead showing up to the steps of congress for less than 1/20th the price with just travel costs.
Showing up to a pre-season game is not the same effort-wise as watching the Superbowl though.
For the Superbowl, all one really needs to do is turn on thier TV.
The slightly more effort version? Get in your car, drive to your buddy's house (or a local bar), watch them turn on their TV. Maybe stop and get some beer along the way.
People who go further than that are generally fans of one of the teams involved and for most of them it is a once in a lifetime event.
You're probably right, but I am hopeful each off season...that hope is usually gone by week two. Hopefully the new owner will make the team more productive.
Heck, I would be fine with cutting the Ravens a check to buy all of their players.
I had no clue that is what time they went back on. Yo, CBS, NFL, Obama and everyone else in on this fake game - you should have turned the lights OFF at 9:11. That would have really ****ed with James' head.

Perhaps you should run for office rather than ***** online about the superbowl.
For six hours, on one day, once a year it is watching the the Super Bowl.
By the way, the Super Bowl doesn't even come close to the World Cup soccer finals. So no, the Super Bowl is not the most watched event in history.
Soccer is no big at all in Canada or the U.S. in fact it only gets TV Coverage if something funny happens or a highlight of a wicked or unusual goal is scored otherwise it is not really covered or talked about on ESPN.
