This is a big part of the problem, 3 years to close down some of these dealers even after several violations, some dealers admittedly selling guns to those who should be denied.

The gun shop, located in the basement of his Biglerville, Pa., home, remains open 14 months later while Taylor appeals the ATF action in federal court. Taylor had no comment. His lawyer, Scott L. Braum, said the violations have been corrected and “no rational person would expect them to reoccur in the future
