You're right. President Obama should have nationalized the petroleum industry in America by now so that he can control the prices and we could be on par with Venezuela.

Tell us, what exactly would you have him do to lower your bill at the pump? We already subsidize the oil companies to the tune of sixty billion or so a year. Do you think they should invest and find more oil so that they can sell it to you cheaper? If so, you don't have a clue how business works.

What you need to do is demand that speculation on crude oil futures be curtailed. That is what drives the prices.

Increases and decreases in fuel prices aren't about presidential politics. Its about the free market.

The election is over for the last time for O. When will you guys get it that he's trying to make people move closer to the cities so he can redistribute suburban wealth to urban programs. I'm not saying he's responsible for high gas prices. Just don't expect him to address it if it works to achieve his goals.

This, and by the OP's logic, I wonder if he was thanking Obama when they went way down last month. As you said, it's all market based.

Is posting hateful divisive threads, and then defend them, all day the only thing you do?

There have been claims of $10 gas by nuts every month for the last 40 years. It has yet to happen.
