Guns don't save lives, nor do they murder.

They are tools. Good guys use them to do good things and bad guys use them to do bad things.

It's a mental illness to think by banning guns, we could somehow stop murdering.

You mean like these kids shot to death by their father yesterday?

"The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has identified the three people killed in the suspected murder suicide in Murphys. The body of 54-year-old Phillip Marshall, and his two juvenile children, were found inside their home in the Forest Meadows subdivision yesterday afternoon.

All three died from gunshot wounds to the head.

The children were 17-year-old Alex Marshall and 14-year-old Macaila Marshall. The family dog was also found dead. The Sheriff's Office believes that Phillip shot his children, and then turned the gun on himself. "

And two more innocent lives ended (and an entire family destroyed, including a newborn baby who'll never know her parents and all her older siblings) by an a-hole with a gun. ...

... because of dog poop getting on his porch.

Or how about this recent gun death at a Superbowl party?

"Bailey was hosting a Super Bowl party at his home in the 4800 block of Homestead Road when the victim, 22-year-old Josh Anderson, was shot and killed.

According to court documents, Bailey called 911 around 8:30 p.m. to report the shooting, saying "my gun accidentally went off," "I did not know it had a bullet in the chamber," and "I'm going to jail."

Gosh, looks like I'm not having any trouble finding more incidents in which guns killed someone than incidents in which they saved lives.

Kudos!

That's nice. And what does this have to do with the gun debate? I'm pretty sure that this storeowner would still have had a gun since no one is calling for a ban of all guns. Unless the guy had an AR-15 with a high capacity magazine and shot 100 guys in 30 seconds, this story is irrelevant to the gun debate.

And yet, all the laws in the world restricting guns would not have stopped any of these tragedies..... another inconvenient truth that the left can't understand

The only possible thing that could help is for people to report erratic behavior and get people into mental health treatment facilities.....other than that over the long haul, change the culture..... yes that means tv, music, movies, video games education etc

Another Super Bowl party incidence of gun violence, leaving one dead and two injured, one critically.

Police said more than 50 rounds were fired during a triple shooting at a Super Bowl party in the shadow of Sun Life Stadium.

A man identified as Brandon Bryant was dead on the scene, just steps away from the host's house at 23rd Court and 204th Street in Miami Gardens, across a canal from the Miami Dolphins' darkened home.

WSVN reports Bryant's father and older brother were also wounded in the barrage of gunfire, and whisked to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital."

Fifty rounds? ---- looks like maybe shots were fired by one of those assault weapons that some of you don't want to ban.

Hand gun, not an assault rifle with a barrel magazine.
