As I mentioned previously, Iran is holding elections in March and the general population is rather unsatisfied with Ahmadinejad's domestic agenda. There is an undercurrent of democratic reform that is becoming more vocal as Iran has been one of the more modernized Islamic states.

Do we squander this opportunity that lay before our feet or do we take a more long term approach at deal with Iran in a way that is more suited to what Iran really is, a growing pawn state of Russia.
