It's not racist at all as long as you say it the right way. No sense in having a person not be able to communicate.

Actually its easy enough if you just learn to pronounce correctly from the start and dont get into bad habits. I think we've all met immigrants who could speak English just fine. Others don't practice or make an attempt to correct mispronunciations. Same goes for Americans who don't work on getting sounds correct.
