Not that far.... how about the antiquated concept of just respecting other kids and teachers and other moral behavior which is laughed at by a vocal group of people these days
I think many are talking about morals and not making kids pray when they talk about bring god back and such
You do realize those most adamant about forcing religion on schools are generally the least moral right?
Yes, it's a well-known fact that only religious people understand right and wrong. Also that all religious people are Good, and non-religious people are Bad.
Thanks for putting words in my mouth
It has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with kids of all backgrounds not being raised properly

Really. Who comprises the "vocal group of people" laughing at respect and other moral behavior?

It is not about forcing religion..... why the deflection? Why not admit that kids are not being raised correctly at home and this spills over into the schools. When someone says they need God in the schools, they are wording it wrong, they should be saying 'we need morals to return" and morals are demonstrated by both religious and non religious
I am sure I will get bashed for using the word moral though by a select few
I couldn't care less if they took out prayers and whatever else in school. But I won't allow a teacher to teach my child the Big Bang Theory/Evolution and claim it's a fact and the only approach.

Being respectful and having morals is not exclusive to Christianity.

Ah. You should have said so then. And "they" should too.

Do you object to them teaching your child that gravity or germs are real?
