There is a direct correlation between future income and academic performance relative to the wealth of the parents. The "down trodden" like to believe that "the rich" are metered out a cruel justice of failed children, but it is just a jealous, bitter fantasy.

If you define everything in terms of future income, you are right. However, future income doesn't mean one has admirable values.
