You can't blame the elders when they go on rants Cosby-style about the youth today, many of whom are completely ignorant of the past:
Stevie Wonder Offended By Lil Wayne's Emmett Till Lyric

20 years ago, other rappers like KRS-One or Professor Griff would've issued a beatdown to anyone who made lyrics like that. Epic is only backtracking because of the attention.

Maybach Music Group ( Wale, Rick Ross) is owned by Atlantic Records( who is owned by Warner Music Group

Aftermath/Shady/G Unit (50 Cent, Dr.Dre, 50 cent, Kendrick Lamar) is owned by Universal Music Group

long story short, Hip hop is not owned by black people, but by private or public companies.

lil Wayne may be President of young Money and Birdman may be CEO of Cash money, but they both have bosses higher than themselves. They dont even control their own album release dates.

Just a convenient means to pass the blame.

Without the artists spewing ignorance, there would be no ignorance coming from them.

They know exactly what they're doing and they know exactly why they are doing it. These are grown Black Men and grown Black Women.

I don't blame NBC for showcasing Amos n Andy....I blame Amos n Andy for being Amos n Andy.
