My sentiments as well...I work for a living too and obviously the OP does not respond to facts, he just wants to Obama bash. I have a full time job but still have time to read the data in the links posted. I guess some of us are much better at multi-tasking than others, or maybe some choose to read factual information and others spend their free time listening to some talking head's mindless babble about Obama and the libs then post it on discussion forums.

Op before you respond to my post and say something about deflection, see posts 11 and 15. Numbers don't lie.

Personally, I am. But it's because I decided to move to a state that is better off economically. Because me and my husband are working tons more hours at work. Because we've cut way back on our expenses.

But no, the economy is NOT better. Despite the liberals wishing it so.

Did we add or lose jobs last month?

And it isn't worse because faux conservatives wish it so. If it was so horrible, you wouldn't have those options and again, numbers don't lie.

We need a LOT more jobs added than that to get back on track.

Did the unemployment rate go up or down last month?

How about gas prices?

How about grocery prices?

Healthcare costs?

Taxes?

And that doesn't even take into consideration the HUGE hits still to come.

This is the problem. It has nothing to do w/ gov. If anything, the only way to address is through gov't.

So we're adding jobs, but that doesn't mean things are getting better?

It's not OP. The Lefties here are just hoping, that's all. They don't want to have to face the fact that their "king" failed them. I work for a labor dept. and the entire UE division is working constant overtime to keep up with the claims. The numbers reported to the feds from the states are bogus and the Lefties here take the bait.

That chart proves the conservative economic theory of wealth trickling down doesn't work.

It depends on how you define "upswing".

We have fewer people working, so that means we have more people living off other people's money. Isn't that good? And we're taking more tax money from those evil rich guys (except Obama's Hollywood buddies), so isn't that an "upswing?"
