But his people say only 11 million illegals are here so the 5 million should take care of them.

Did the unemployment rate go up last month?

Didn't we lose 8 million people out of the workforce since Obama's been in office?
I hear another recovery summer is on the way. What will that make the fourth in a row now?

Also, it varies greatly in what part of the country we are talking about. California is a horrible place to be a young person starting out in life because of the rampant unemployment and constant influx of poor non-English speaking immigrants that exists there. DC much offers more opportunities for young professionals. Young women are doing better than young men because many of the new boom industries like healthcare and general service sector jobs favor women. Women stereotypically dominate many service professions from bar-tending to nursing to child care.

Also, the "follow you dreams" mantra became outdated as soon as December of 2007 hit for millions of millenials. Prior to the economic downturn, there were millions of more jobs available that are gone today.

Pulling yourself by your bootstraps is simply harder today. Ignoring that kids today have it hard makes you, well, a jerk.
Oh please. Every generation has had it difficult. When I entered the workplace, unemployment was 9%.

It's not harder for them to succeed - they're softer. We've raised a nation of veal calves.

Yes. The consequences of their policies can last a very long time.

Understand now? Yes or no?

Yes it must be them, not the worst global economic downturn in modern history with a long recovery ahead! But if we are going to blame a demographic group then I blame the parents of these millennials!

This.^^^ Obama's policies involve getting as many people on the dole as possible. He is a candidate who believes in "social justice" which means he needs people on the dole so he can take credit for helping them. Romney and Ron Paul are candidates who want to get people back to work and supporting themselves.

It looks to me like the millenials would rather have freebies than jobs. At least the ones who voted for Obama want freebies.

Seriously? Every single person?

I don't want anyone to be unemployed. I want people to stop believing that people should be grateful for jobs that pay less than a living wage. And don't start with the "they could get a better job if they tried" BS.
Employers know that they hold the upper hand now. Even if every employer in the country started hiring tomorrow, wages are never going back to where they were. Too many people defending profit over all.
