Lets hope this is the start of something nationwide.

Interesting. It is kind of cool to see the average guy that usually ignores and puts his head down and works. Standing up and fighting, especially for a law put in place quickly by a guy trying to make a political name for himself.

And by "going Gandhi", they mean "indulging in their Red Dawn fantasies":

Quote:
It may start as an info war, and then escalate into protests. But if Cuomo does not relent and repeal his unconstitutional, illegal and immoral mandate against law-abiding gun owners, there is a good chance this conflict may "go hot" and lead will start flying.

Does the police plan on beating those protesters as well?

I wonder if they will be tear gassed or maced at close range and hauled off to jail? Gandhi was beaten and jailed for his civil disobedience, and didn't fight back when attacked. His doctrine of nonviolence is what prevailed. I wonder if this bunch has it in them to actually follow Gandhi, or whether they intend to start a war when the police arrive?

Here is what they should expect if they refuse to disperse:

My bet is that they will want to ban mace.

I guess the bogus pro-gun comments attributed to Martin Luther King didn't work so now you have to up the ante.

Do you have Gandhi's quote from a real news source?
