For me it depends on what we are getting for it. I'm a fairly liberal dude but I don't want to drop 55% of my income if I'm not getting anything for it. The tax system in Northern Europe is obviously high, but the public benefit is amazing. I studied abroad in Denmark for six months during my college years and it was pricy, but the system is so remarkably equitable that it doesn't bother most.

Further...countless studies have disproven the whole "tax migration" thing. The only evidence that was regurgitated by the Right was Maryland's millionaire "exodus." Those number were patently disproven when a closer examination was done on why the people were leaving...most of them left LIFE as opposed to the Old Line state anyway, lol.
