The real money to be taken is with the vast numbers of middle class and they ain't goin' anywhere and the gov't knows it.

Curious as to how a 75% exit tax would work. What would be taxed? What's the minimal amount that the tax will levy onto someone moving out of the country? Who would fall under this tax?

Well thankfully only the 1% will have to worry about that.

You need to flesh it out more if you want it to be taken seriously though.

Default Regressives leaving is a GOOD thing

In the circles I run, containing only the most enlightened people in this country who voted for this fine President, not one person would shed a tear if bigoted and clueless Republicans would leave this country. If this is happening, then chaulk this up as yet another positive effect this President is having on this country. If we can get Republicans to leave the country by raising taxes, I'm all for it.

Getting Regressives to LEAVE, benefits the well-being and progression of this nation tremendously...and don't you forget it either.

Your graph is out of date,,,It's from 2005. The US is now 8th lowest, and India is the lowest.

Only problem is that they're not leaving in larger numbers and more quickly. OP made it sound like a mass exodus or something. oh, well, so much for thread starting sensationalism.<yawn>
