Apparently, folks in the Ural Mountains of Russia have been treated to a serious meteor shower, which even caused some injuries, early Friday morning (2-15-13).

This is from that meteor that's not supposed to enter our atmosphere - it's supposed to pass 17,000 miles from Earth.

I am no scientist. What I want to know is - is that thing gone? Is that the extent of the damage?

Even if it is, darn it that was a bit too close for comfort!
