It takes an awfully big man to slap a 19 month old child and use racial slur toward the child.
I'm a father and know how annoying it can be when a child (your's or someone else's) is crying nonstop. It's frustrating. However there is absolutely no justification of an adult hitting a young child. Children cry. It's what they do and it's natural. This man could have politely communicated with the airline staff that he was being disturbed by the crying but instead he chose to act like a jerk. He should face a very steep fine and possible jail time.
Oh and I forgot to add hopefully if he does go to jail/prison he will be repaeatedly sodomized in the shower by a bunch of hardened thug criminals while the guards look the other way.
