So Obama is trying to give someone a little insight into how our country works. What is wrong with that?
I am assuming the context of the conversation was immigration and Obama was explaining that, no matter what his opinions are about that, he has to work through congress and our system of government.

The person obviously wanted and thought a president could do whatever they want and he's telling her it doesn't work that way. What's the problem?
