But it's not just him. His wife was also in public office and she's the one that did the taxes.
That's a double whammy..both of them.
And the amount..$750,000 in campaign funds...geeze. Did they really think they could pull that off ?
Well I guess they thought they could and no one would say anything.

I hope both get the max prison sentence and neither allowed to run for public office again ever.
And I could care less about the party. You don't take campaign funds and redecorate your house with it.

His father was much better with the hustle than he. The Rev always touched the line, but never went over in his extortion of corporations. A family to be proud of, America.

Funniest part of the news article....

Quote:
Jackson made it to Congress in 1995 after winning a special election triggered by the resignation of Representative Mel Reynolds, who was convicted of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography. Reynolds is now vying for the seat again in a February 26 Democratic primary.
Watch Reynolds get elected.

His dad should have gone to jail for paying off his mistress and love child with operation push funds.

Suffice to say that Jr. will probably serve 6 months at club fed and his wife will not get time. The 5 years cited is the max for him so I suspect he will get a year and she will get probation.
