Why would he be labeled as such? And why do so many people refer to black people and voting with slave references? Especially when they get upset that they cannot get black people to vote for their agenda?

Seventh-Day Adventist...sound doctrine, but likely would not be acceptable to the majority to have a leader espousing such beliefs.

Please, please nominate Ben Carson for the Republican president candidacy. You guys will win in a landslide. Having another black figure that is a hero in every black community will definitely swing the 2016 election your way. I assure you.

Have to see the rest of his beliefs on things before I make a judgement on it.
Why don't you start by actually reading his book....

And FYI, he is very well-known and well-respected by the Black community

Pres. Obama had a relatively thin resume in 2008 but the Democrats didn't have many good options (as reflected in the fact that Obama wound up with a problematic VP pick in Joe Biden).

The R's don't have that problem in 2016. R's have a plethora of potential candidates--Rubio, Jindal, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, etc. There would be no reason for R's to turn to a guy with no previous experience in running for elected office.
