This article is completely inaccurate. The American Government joined the war on terror because of 9/11 and not because of the Israeli Government. The Israeli Government does not own and never owned the American Government. President Obama is certainly not a big fan of the Israeli Government and he recently got elected a second time.

Under Obama's watch two terrorists exploded bombs in the US.
Yes, both bombs exploded but were duds. Point being no one stopped them except through God's good will.

Then Obama protects us from terrorism by re-naming the violence.

An Army recruiter killed in Arkansas and renamed to avoid calling it a terrorist act.

Fort Hood shooting was labeled workplace violence.

In addition, Obama has protected us from terrorism by discouraging the use of the term 'the war on terror' because it might be offensive to the terrorists.

Obama claimed his election, "bad choice 1", would bring peace because of his muslim 'experience'.

Better go tell Obama you have a solution to 2,000 years of infighting by the paleolithic arab nations who pretend to be civilized while stoning and bombing innocent people into dust and then go to the store, buy cars and diamonds as if they actually were evolved humans.

Consider the extreme hatred of the warring nations during WW2....we are now driving our former despised enemies' cars and fully embrace each others culture.

Then there is the 'middle east'.

Israel is being made a pawn in that war. In other words the arabs are telling us who we can be friends with.

Some analyst? Who? I mean ANYONE can call themselves a political analyst. In fact MOST of the people here are in many ways performing political analysis.

What if more than one person decides the story you refer to is a liberal fabrication? Does that make it so, simply because someone said so?

As for hostility towards the Islamic Republic? Where is that? Never heard of that country.

Any hostility we support, is against those who attack us, try to kill us, or attack/threaten our allies.

As for Bullying Iran? Really? I guess Israel has forced the United Nation Security Council to agree to sanctions against Iran?
Quote:
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1696 – passed on 31 July 2006. Demanded that Iran suspend all enrichment-related and reprocessing activities and threatened sanctions.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1737 – passed on 23 December 2006. Made mandatory for Iran to suspend enrichment-related and reprocessing activities and cooperate with the IAEA, imposed sanctions banning the supply of nuclear-related materials and technology, and froze the assets of key individuals and companies related to the program.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1747 – passed on 24 March 2007. Imposed an arms embargo and expanded the freeze on Iranian assets.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1803 – passed on 3 March 2008. Extended the asset freezes and called upon states to monitor the activities of Iranian banks, inspect Iranian ships and aircraft, and to monitor the movement of individuals involved with the program through their territory.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1835 – Passed in 2008.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1929 – passed on 9 June 2010. Banned Iran from participating in any activities related to ballistic missiles, tightened the arms embargo, travel bans on individuals involved with the program, froze the funds and assets of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, and recommended that states inspect Iranian cargo, prohibit the servicing of Iranian vessels involved in prohibited activities, prevent the provision of financial services used for sensitive nuclear activities, closely watch Iranian individuals and entities when dealing with them, prohibit the opening of Iranian banks on their territory and prevent Iranian banks from entering into relationship with their banks if it might contribute to the nuclear program, and prevent financial institutions operating in their territory from opening offices and accounts in Iran.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 1984 – passed on 9 June 2011. This resolution extended the mandate of the panel of experts that supports the Iran Sanctions Committee for one year.
  • United Nations Security Council Resolution 2049 – passed on 7 June 2012. Renewed the mandate of the Iran Sanctions Committee’s Panel of Experts for 13 months.

As well as controlling, Australia, Canada, India, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, and the many other countries who have separate and continuing sanctions against Iran?

Iran is kinda like an itch you cannot scratch, or a boil on your behind, that requires lancing...

Also note, I am NOT talking about ALL the people of IRAN, just the leaders who are forcing this on their people. MANY of the residents of Iran, would like nothing more, than to be more like Qatar, or Kuwait, or the UAE. They don't want violence, they would rather just live their lives and go about their business.

Help. Would that be defined as $$$$$ being given to ME countries so they'll like us more better?

Would that be extortion?

Carter supports Afghanistan Freedom Fighters {mujahideen} against Russia, Reagan goes a step further providing modern weapons and CIA intelligence to Afghan Freedom Fighters, we remained at war with Russia in a indirect way, Afghanistan has little or no oil.

The Soviet war in Afghanistan lasted nine years from December 1979 to February 1989. Part of the Cold War, it was fought between Soviet-led Afghan forces against multi-national insurgent groups called the mujahideens. The insurgents received military training in neighboring Pakistan, China, and billions of dollars from the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. The decade long war resulted in millions of Afghans fleeing their country, mostly to Pakistan and Iran. Hundreds of thousands of Afghan civilians were killed in addition to the participants in the war.
America is helping China too.

Afghanistan signed a copper deal with China (Metallurgical Corp. of China Ltd.) in 2008, which is to a large scale project that involves the investment of $2.8 billion dollars by China and an annual income of about $400 million dollars to the Afghan government.
While Americans are guarding Chinese interests in Afghanistan.
What's wrong with this picture?

And its a well known fact that Jews control the media, banking, government, Hollywood, doctors, lawyers, accountants, and the falafel industrial complex. Did you guys know that over 80% of the gefilte fish in this country is purchased by Jews? Imagine what kind of power these people must have!

You're funny.

Here is the map of our bases surrounding Iran

http://www.juancole.com/images/2012/02/bases3.png

We are in those places because our Congress and President are bought and paid for by the Israeli lobby.
Your ignorance as to the extent of our relationship with the Saudi's and their relationship with middle eastern countries like Iran and Iraq is breathtaking.

The Sauds prefer it that way though. They just sit back out of the picture so they aren't seen as being a crony of the west or in bed with the Israelis.

We invaded Iraq because of Gulf I and our president being an idiot.

Without the invasion of Kuwait and the fears of the Sauds that they'd be next, there is no Gulf II.

No doubt most of you will probably find a way to blame the Jews for Saddams Kuwaiti invasion as well.
