It sounds like a joke but it's not. And it took an indian immigrant to notice it too (again, not a joke).

Alright! Mississippi is about halfway through the 19th century now. At this rate they should pass the civil right act by about 2187...sweet.

in the end it doesnt matter because the 13th amendment had been the law of the land now for decades. same with the civil rights act.
