Do you mean something like Godwin's Law:

"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."

Yup, it's dog eat dog, ain't it?

I can't understand why the tea party is mad at Rove, all he did was to try to buy the 2012 election so the far right fringes could gain control again. Isn't that what they {right} want?

The Tea Party remeinds me of a HOA. Bunch of ol' men; all wanting to be leader, with infighting, backbiting, and always finding ways to get into everybody's business....

He is not running for office, he is an campaign adviser.
And, it would seem, a very bad one.

You leftists really sling the word "hate" around pretty freely, don't you? Is that your favorite word? You issue it in response to anything anyone says or does who doesn't agree with your agenda or point of view. That's what I call total intolerance.

And, equating the Tea Party to the Taliban is totally absurd. If the Tea Party can be compared to the Taliban, then "Progressives" (Democrats) can be compared to Nazis and communists. In fact, that is probably a more accurate comparison.

I wonder what you call the Founders of our great country? I imagine you have disdane for them too.

"Ignorant" would be a good start, without being too derogatory or offensive.

These people delight in making such ridiculous comparisons, but it really makes them look like ignoramuses. They aren't smart enough to make intelligent arguments as to why they disagree with a group or a person. All they know is how to sling the "hate" word around, and make their bullying comments.

I'm not sure if "ignorant" is dismissive enough.

The tea party won a few battles but they lost the war for sure.
