I'm still trying to work out the perfect blend of Socialism + Libertarianism.

Is it possible, and does a 30 year old, single malt of political theory really exist?

With Libertarianism, what will stop corruption, hoarding, monopolies and avarice?

How about Free market supporters and neo-liberals - the same questions for you.

and what is the Conservative view here?

Libertarianism can definitely work. Its the perfect blend of Republicans and Democrats.

They are fiscally conservative.
Want low taxes.
Personal freedom.
Small government.
Support the Constitution

I'm a Libertarian.

What most people don't know, is that the "Tea Party" is a group of Republicans that have move AWAY from the extreme right and toward Libertarianism.

The Republicans attacked them for it and of course that opened the door for Democrats to attack them too.

Of course people watch the media showing these attacks and now they all think the tea party are a bunch of loons.

Corruption is a political issue, the bigger government and the more laws, the more corruption.

There is nothing wrong with hoarding.

Monopolies are created by government, in a free market monopolies cannot exist (for long).

There is nothing wrong with avarice.

Small government will largely take care of the corruption.

Hoarding, monopolies and avarice all go hand in hand really.
But a simplified tax code, better(not more) regulation and bringing companies back home(spurring competition) can massively help with that.

Government causes monopolies for the most part.
Hoarding and avarice will never be eradicated. That happens all over the world. That comes down to the morality of the person running the company. There really isn't anything wrong with that though.

We are our own person. It is up to us to help and educate ourselves. We need to take personal responsibility. We can all go on to start multi-million dollar companies. WE have to put the effort in though.

That is a vague question.

But enough to support the current defense force we have of course.

Remove the wasteful expenditures and botched tenders(corruption).

Close the foreign bases and base them at home. That is VERY costly.

And we are non-interventional. Don't need to be going to war with everyone. Take care of home first.

Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips ( 4 of the Big 5) are 27 of the 33 Standard Oil companies.

BP( the 5th big Oil Company ) owns the 4 of 33.
