Right. It is not about rights or benefits, it is about tearing down the nation as we know it. .
Compare the nation today to the one that was created at the end of the 18th century. You may be surprised to discover that many things have changed over the last few centuries. It's not about tearing down the nation, it's about progress, a word that terrifies the religious right as much as the prospect of a gay person being allowed to marry the same way a straight person can does. The forward momentum of progress is going to roll right over you guys.
As I am starting to see here in this thread, it's not about equality as far as "rights" go, it's about being able to point and laugh while they pee on YOUR beliefs.
You know what, yep, you're totally right. I want to be treated equally under the laws of the US and its several states simply so I can point and laugh at you while peeing on your beliefs.
That's what it boils down to. They sell the gay agenda as an issue about benefits, but when you press them, it becomes clear it is only a fake argument to win some support for the agenda.

You're the one who talks without knowing what you're saying and when disputed by actual gay people (and non-hateros) you ignore us and keep spewing what amounts to lies.

there was no such thing as marriage since the "start" of mankind. Marriage is a modern concept.
and since the start of mankind, there have been homosexuals, and they had sex with each other as any other mammal did.
