I can say that I also have never heard anyone say that. I know of no one that doesn't agree that the government has some role even if they believe it is far more limited than the current one.

So much for the shining city on the hill. The lights are going out and the roads to the hill are eroding yet the GOP wants to give tax breaks to the wealthy instead of repairing our great nation.
Whaddaya know.... all them big businesses, all them government agencies... they all skimp on maintenance. All them low taxes so business can thrive.. all them low taxes so government can pander by paying welfare...

George Will said it in the 80's - we Americans do not want to pay for all the things we demand of government. Guess what? All them chickens are coming home to roost. The Chinese will not stumble when they come marching down or crumbling roads and occupying our crumbling buildings. To them it will be an improvement.
