All cuts to the poor and homeless, not a dime from corporate welfare.
The bulk of the cuts are to defense....you don't consider any defense spending as "corporate welfare"?
Bring it on...we need to cut spending in all areas. Keep in mind of course that these are cuts in increases in spending...not actual cuts from what they currently get.
It is not cutting gov spending it is cutting increased spending which will still increase
Right, that's exactly what we want to be doing right now, reducing the rate of growth in federal spending because if we reduce the rate of growth, that money will go to the rich, er, job creators, who will put the money into the economy by infusing capital into their businesses and hiring more people and raising the salaries of those they already employ. It's just plain as day in the historical record that this is the way to go, correct?

Can you explain the data that supports the view that cutting spending will benefit the economy within the current context?
I like Rand Paul's stand on the deal.
It needed to be more, instead of just the annual automatic increases in agency budgets.
Nothing will change. Nothing. I repeat, NOTHING.
Call Obama's bluff.
Seems the Tea Party put the chips on the table with the tax increase and called Obama's bluff.

The money that is going to be spent in the rate of growth does not exist. We have to print it first.
Even if it did exist it would be much better if it were in the private sector.
Private sector people spend money based on economic decisions which tend to benefit everyone.
Politicians spend money based on political decisions which tend to have zero economic benefit to anyone.
You have to be insane or complicit to believe a word from anyone who pushes the scare tactics. Its a bunch of bull.
This country is in trouble, for sure, but not because of needed cuts. We haven't had a budget in how long now? This administration thinks our debt is just a joke, and we are going to face the consequences sooner and later.
The bottom line is when have a lot of work to so to deal with debt and our economy. But as far as the sequester scare tactics, anyone with a brain and looks at the facts that the media refuses to spell out, knows its a bunch if bs.

I will feel the effects next week when I take a business trip. TSA estimates the increase in time because of reduced staff will be an additional 5 hrs to go through security. Thanks boehner.
These are the people that accuse Republicans of using scare tactics.
