I remember a movie or TV show when they're explaining to the little girl about homosexuality and she thinks it's 'just silly.'

While I don't take it all as a joke, at times I admit I do see it in a lighter way. I mean who cares if they want to marry, but I admit, when people make jokes about two grooms or something it can be kind of amusing.

I'm just wondering if a large majority of people see it this way.
to redefine marriage to incllude people of the same sex is to reduce the term to near meaninglessness.
But in today's upside down America, Perversity Triumps and Normalcy fails.

Why? Did you marry the wrong person?

And divorces, adultery, drive thru weddings, etc. don't already reduce it to meaninglessness?

I think everyone should have the equal opportunity to be as miserable in a marriage as I was.

Case in point. Folks are entitled to have a different opinion and apparently there are those who cannot handle this reality and will attempt to bully coerced compliance via misapplied, inappropriate libelous name calling. 100% agreement and compliance on this issue is never going to happen either.

Well when you put an opinion out there, people are going to disagree with it and will tell you so, which is in their right to do so, you don't like, don't tell people your opinion and no one will ever tell you you are wrong.

When somebody asks a loaded opinion question expect to receive answers you don’t want to hear.

I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman. However, others can and do believe differently. Just like I have freedom to choose, so do they. If someone wants to marry a tree, it's up to them. If a man has 4 wives, it's up to them. If you ask me about my stance, I will surely share it. But I do not believe in forcing my beliefs on anyone else.

I think gays should be able to marry each other, but I do see it as 'less than' a normal relationship.
