One thing that jumps out at me, that I can change is canned foods. Beans are easy to cook, chili, soups, frozen veges, and make our own fruit juices, smoothies and the like. Once you've made your own lemonade or orange juice, the canned concentrate doesn't come close to the real thing.
the OP blames the corporations, but dont foget that the government allows many of the chemicals that are used in processed foods today. but considering that people are living longer, and foods have a longer shelf life, i dont really see a problem.
as middle aged mom pointed out, it comes down to personal responsibility for not only what we consume, but how much.

Jack Watson: White House chief of staff
Clarence Thomas: US Supreme Court
Mickey Kantor: Secretary of Commerce
Anne Veneman: Secretary of Agriculture
Margaret Miller: Deputy Director FDA

Who do many other countries have labeling of food products that contain GMOs
Many countries will not let Monsanto products in their countries.
Our president the first time he ran said the American people deserve to know what they are eating but has done nothing about labeling.
How many people know that Monsanto owns 45% of the world's seeds.
If a farmers crops are contaminated by Monsanto crops from across the road, Monsanto takes the farmer to court and takes his farm.
