Why does everyone associate the word "Communist" with something they don't like these days. "I hate Obama! He must be a Communist! I hate California too so I guess it's Communist too! Yeaahhh!!! Let's go kill some n****** and Jews cus they're Communist too. Then we'll have a BBQ and wave our Confederate flags all over and sing songs about how Dixie will rise again!!"

Do you even know what Communism is?

From Merriam-Webster:
" a theory advocating elimination of private property"
" a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production"

From Dictionary.com:
"a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state"
"a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party"
"A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people"

I honestly see no signs of "commies" in the CA govt. or Obama's administration. Apparently they don't teach about communism in school or how to use dictionaries or how to search the web for info in Texas. No wonder taxes are lower--smaller numbers to deal with in the government because them tharr big ol' numbers be mighty hard fuh yall to count.

And no, a government health care option is not being a "commie." Even a universal health care system is not, but there will be universal healthcare system run by the government. Are you saying all developed nations of the world that we have EXTREMELY close a strong relationships with such as the UK, France, and Canada are Communist? Yall are mighty wrong!

Does it make it you even angrier that SF (a LIBERAL city in CALIFORNIA) already has a public option?

Bush is too stupid to realize that the reason the world hates the US and the reason terrorists want to blow up the US is because the US government has a history of doing stupid things like the war in Iraq. If we didn't do things like destroy Iraq terrorists would not be after us. Why should the hard earned money of the blue states go to pay for the stupid decisions of the idiot leaders elected by the red states?

Imagine how much better we could make the schools, infrastructure, environment, economy and other things in California if we invested all of the tax money the Federal government steals from us to blow up Iraq and instead invested that money in making California a better place.

California should not sit back and watch the rest of the country drag us down with them. We Californians should rise up, demand our independence, and create a much better California.

HAHAHA!!! Your right about the red states. We should divide America between Blue states and Red states and let the red states try to pay for all the wars they want to support. Good luck coming up with 10 billion a month rednecks!!!!!!!!!

I realize it federally cannot happen. However hypothetically, if California were able, would it be better off as its own country?

Yep, they have everything they need. Except water.

We should have 50 separate states. We could even create city-states, like Athens once was.

Ever here "United we stand, divided we fall"? It already apparent with the constant bickering between the left and right.
