There are tens of millions of unaffiliated / independents. I have no idea how some, let alone most lean.

I am partisan agnostic. I have never voted a straight ticket.

Well, just want to wish my fellow Americans a beautiful & blessed holiday weekend.

Might not always show it, but most certainly appreciate all the opportunities & possibilities I enjoy here at home.

Its freakin' crazy out there, ridiculous.

Again the dissent is over policy & underlying ideology.

So again hope you guys enjoy your break.

Godspeed.

Perhaps those that warn about collectivism (especially in certain industries & among those of a certain political persuasion) & a certain type of socialism are not just whistling Dixies (no pun intended).

She is a far-right politician serving as a Member of the European Parliament for Italy in her own right, but she has also spent decades defending the actions of her grandfather, who allied himself with Adolf Hitler in the run-up to World War II after brutally quashing domestic opponents to refashion Italy as a totalitarian state following the first world war.

Alessandra Mussolini entered politics after a career as an actress and model. She posed for European editions of Playboy in the 1980s. Her politics have always appeared relatively akin to those of her fascist grandfather, though she rejects the label herself.

There has been a lot of buzz about certain multi-nationals in a certain industry centralizing, consolidating & concentrating a heck of a lot of power in a heck of a little hands.

The fact of the matter is for whatevah reason the past (& to a great extent current generations) bend over backwards for paleo\neo-nazis, fascist-corporatists & their slaver sidekicks from the man-children & let those demographics as "authentic" representatives of the One Wurld Gubbermint & community.

After several centuries people are just NOW getting some vague notion of the idea that those pushing the globalist plantation utopia might not have ever seriously considered delivering on it.

But alas as I have often had to remind over & over again against the mainstream media & academia propaganda wing that there were various regional cultural milieus from the underground counter Atlantic plantation cultural movements from the border states to the Midwest, New England & even Quebec not to mention everything in between. I bring this up not to deceive into going back into some mythical, fantastical past but as inspiration for the up & coming generations of the future.

I bring this up as a reminder for the left leaning among the broad libertarian & civil liberty community; the both mental & physical amateur sporting community (i.e. non-paid/non-corporate sponsored/endorsed athletes); the (public & non-profit) civic performing arts & crafts organizations; non-profit public libraries as well as public colleges & universities at the state & local level to reboot the open source (has both profit & not-for-profit aspects to it) & free software movements respectively. The non-profit & not-for-profit orgs had a lot to do with the success of the interwebs no matter how much the corporatist & statist One Wurld, One Massah, One holy & hallow plantation media tries to deny it.

The open source movement has developed a new philosophy about intellectual property, maintaining that knowledge should be free – that although it is important to prevent plagiarism or passing off an inferior product as a trusted brand, to curtail the free exchange of knowledge and ideas is a disservice to society.

That's the fundamental issue: while non-free software and SaaSS are controlled by some other entity (typically a corporation or a state), free software is controlled by its users.

Schools – and all educational activities – influence the future of society through what they teach. So schools should teach exclusively free software, to transmit democratic values and the habit of helping other people.

Life without freedom is oppression, and that applies to computing as well as every other activity in our lives.

We must win control of all the software we use. How can we win this control? By rejecting SaaSS, and non-free software on the computers we own or regularly use. By developing free software (for those of us who are programmers). By refusing to develop or promote non-free software or SaaSS. By spreading these ideas to others. Let's make all computer users free.

Oh, almost forgot about non-profit consumer cooperatives as well as conservationists (keep in mind despite trying to lump synthetics with biodiversity, they should be in a separate category from both domestics & natural, organic wildlife) & Radio Amateurs orgs (launched 1st non-gubbermintal OSCAR [Orbiting Satellite Carrying Amateur Radio] satellites that enabled communication as much across the Cold War era Capitalist Atlantic, State Commies & Neutralist Socialists nations as well as oceans & continents) should also be in the mix.

Also one should keep in mind just as much as open doesn't necessarily equate to free, free doesn't necessarily equate to open.

Well, I'd just like to thank my fellow Americans for all the possibilities & opportunities I enjoy in this here nation.

Especially with all the crazy & chaos going on in the world, I'm glad to be here than in a heck of a lot of other places.

Again the dissent is over policy & underlying ideology.

So hope you all have a wonderful & blessed weekend.

Godspeed.
