Actually, very little is taken from the middle class.

Look at the average effective federal income tax rates. MUCH more is taken from the top than the middle class (top 25-50%), extremely disproportionately so:

Top 1%: 23.39% effective tax rate
Top 25-50%: 6.01% effective tax rate

the truely RICH are left alone.

While it is certainly true that the republicans do nothing to curb the wealth of the super rich, it is also true that republicans do nothing to block those who are not rich, from becoming rich. In fact, they do exactly the opposite.
All truth.

Real wealth for the poor has in many areas gone up. However it keeps trending lower in some areas like food quality, work hours etc. We will not get into that.

Financial wealth on the other hand has gone way down in relative terms, and when it comes to financial wealth, relative terms is in absolute terms since financial wealth is a zero sum adjustment. Financial accounting can only move wealth, not create it all on its own. If we print up a dollar for you, everyone else must lose if no supply is added as a result.

So will all of you nits on the left and the right please

stop the endless nonsense conflating real wealth with financial wealth.

You keep bickering about two completely different things like dumb animals.

Now as to you ringwise. Their argument is that someone has a roof over their head, just like you say. However the financials say that someone got it on a credit card. So they are wondering based upon the financial accounting how they will ever repair the roof. Get it yet?
The real poor have a roof over their head paid for by the US govt. Who repairs that roof for them. As for food quality - they are free to buy whatever food they like with their food stamps. If they choose to buy crap, that's on them.

I love how liberals berate others for "changing the subject", then change the subject by deciding that they make the rules of the discussion.

Having a roof over your head automatically means you are not poor ?

i have no idea what you mean by a better cell phone, are you talking about people who sign up for the older model iphones ( that are priced at 0.00) and then pay for the cheapest plan on the network ?

They also dont have an unlimited money supply for food.

Medical is partially paid for in most cases.

Everyone in this country that chooses to send their kids to public schools get it for free so again what are you talking about ?

Do we? Look at the average net worth of the house and senate? Alternately, look who finances their campaigns.

What is that, welfare queen?

A head full of sea mammal blubber prevents you from understanding the concept of license. Fannie, Freddie, GNMA, FIRE sector for the rest of you.

I am not a liberal and subscribe to none of their polices. So you can poke that voodoo doll all you like and it will not change the fact they you did not address the point. Do you always pay this much attention? I just described the source of endless babbling between the stooges on the right and left as they bicker without the established premise of what is poverty and financial poverty. But by all means keep loving yourself.

You think you offer insight being against the welfare state? gee that's hard to figure out.

Keep rambling incoherently. People will see you for what you are. Fannie, Freddie, GNMA, and the FIRE sector do nothing for me.

Yes, it does. Food, shelter, clothing. If you have that, you are not poor.
