I can't speak for other countries but what makes you think that legal immigrants aren't welcomed in this country? I mean we have been allowing in legal immigrants since our founding. Some people perhaps don't like immigrants but they don't speak for the majority in this country. Illegal immigrants should never be welcomed!

His great grandfather came legaly. He was joking of course, but that is the reality: we are a nation of immigrants, but a nation of legal immigrants.

I didn`t say there is outrage over legal immigration. I said immigrants have rarely been welcomed with open arms.

Yes it does concern me. Polls consistently show that an overwhelming majority of hispanic voters prefer a large ever growing federal government.
