If there was a major war between the United States and Israel vs countries in The Middle East such as Iran, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan whose side would Turkey join?

I am confused as to if they are an ally or enemy. Please vote in the poll.

What's in it for them one way or the other?

[better yet, what's in it for us?]

I can't see many of those countries siding together because generally speaking most Middle Eastern countries hate Iran more than they hate the US. I don't see Egypt getting involved in a war anyway except with themselves.

Agreed.

[and I should add, what's in it for them?]

Stop over analyzing this and just answer my question or please don't even bother posting in my thread, annoying and it's being derailed.

Turkey is a member of NATO, so it would support its NATO allies.

It's a stupid question and makes about as much sense as "if Liechtenstein and Monaco go to war who would the USA support?". That's about as likely as this scenario. (btw the USA would probably support Monaco since the ruler there is half American).
