How much of the low labor force participation rate is the economy and how much is demographics? We have a ton of baby boomers reaching retirement age, so even in a strong economy it seems likely that we would have a lower than normal participation rate.
Go through some of the alternate employment tables on BLS and you'll see that the labor force participation rate is going down across demographic sectors.

I'd say let him take credit for the spending cuts --- and now that the sequester has only led to big improvements in unemployment rates and the economy, or at least did not prove to have any dire consequesnces, we need to push for more spending cuts.
Now that Obama has brought down the unemployment rates, there are no more good excuses to keep extending unemployment handouts and no more excuses not to cut other government handouts. Everyone who wants a job can get one now with these wonderful numbers.

And they still h*** Obamas leg even though they are worse off. lol, people were wrong .. the rich like Obama lol and you bought it hook line and sinker.
The economy will NEVER be good again!!! I honestly don't know why some unemployment update post is made every month on city-data. Our job growth numbers over the years have barely been enough to make up for the number of people coming into the workforce, and no where near enough to make up for the jobs lost during the recession.
When the unemployment rate goes below 6%, then lets brag about something on city-data. But lets be honest. That will NEVER happen again in our lifetimes!

But they have to keep the Obama cult believing even if nothing has gotten better for them.
They don't count the people who have just given up trying to find a job and dropped out entirely.
We'll see how much Obama believes that he's created all these jobs that his fan club claims he has created. When long-term unemployment handouts comes up again, if Obama keeps extending them, then he doesn't believe there are jobs.
People are quick to point fingers, to blame Obama when there is high unemployment...
But when the UR drops (as it has), credit is not given, where credit is due...
