The main problem in the black community is we don't own nothing. A lot of people like to decry racism, and it was racism that put us in this situation, but the government isn't going to solve these problems. No social program is going to uplift black people as a whole. We've been doing that ever since slavery ended, and still black people at the bottom of a sinkhole. We have been socially engineered to know our place, so as a group even today, we aren't successful at anything other than entertainment and sports. All the while we continue to let time pass, over a third of our population is about to become extinct. It's time we done something for ourselves.

My plan is simply this. In all areas where there is a majority of black people, we need to form a tight nit community there. Much like how immigrants have formed Chinatowns, Little Italys, and Little Cuba's etc., we need to form Blacktowns. Black businessmen and businesswomen will then relocate their businesses there, and the community will shop at them to let the money circulate. We also set up barriers so outsiders looking to set up gun shops and liquor stores will have no customers whatsoever. Now immigrants have a natural barrier in their languages. We would have to find a couple of other ways to set up these barriers, or we could develop a new American language as well, and let it be a first language within these communities. (That would be innovative, but it would take time) Ultimately in a few years after the formation of these towns, you'll see black people begin to rise from poverty into upper middle-class or upper class. Black people would then be called the model minority, and people will want to move there. At that time you will see a true reciprocation of integration. (Because only black people wanted to integrate back in the 60-to this present day)

Now with all that said, how do you get the ball rolling in the direction of forming Blacktowns? I would like to see all of our entertainers, athletes, black voices, and all income classes in the black community come together on one accord. To specifically fund these businesses and communities. For example I would like to see Lebron James speak out publicly, and dedicate all his philanthropy work into it. We owe it to our ancestors and ourselves to solve the disproportionate problems in the black community. It's a downright shame to look at black people at the bottom of every group statistic. It's outrageous to the point that if you're black, you should be 1000% for a plan like this. Now this is not a discriminatory thing against other groups. This is just something black people should do for themselves. All immigrants have done this and continue to do so. When black people do it and build up the wealth in our community, we can finally be equal. We can finally have the resources for us to have an idea, and become a billionaire. To finally be able to have a global business. At the moment we don't have the resources to do jack. Right now we can't compete with anyone. This is why we need to form Blacktowns.

Blacktowns already exist. Black people in America mostly live in communities that are majority back. This is all by design.

(See: housing discrimination)

(Examples, Chicago South-Side, Furgeson Missouri, NYC's Harlem years ago, etc.)

No, those are black neighborhoods, essentially where black people live. A Blacktown would be an area where you can shop, go to the movies, etc., all located within the community. This is where money is flowing. I imagine if we can form many Greenwood Oklahomas all across the country, all of our poor can get out of poverty. This is how east Asian, Indian, and Jewish families get theirs. We have a much larger population to cause an even bigger change.

Ain't gonna happen unless Jim Crow comes back. Decent Black dudes and ladies sure as hell will NOT live next to hood rats unless forced to. Too; with more and more Black people marrying out, would their NON "Black" spouses be welcome in your "Blacktowns", especially if their kids are real light skinned?

Jim Crow still exist in spirit. The only people who wanted to integrate were black people. That was our mistake. Because nobody wanted to integrate with us, black businesses lost all their customers and had to fold up. These businesses are what made our community wealthy, just like with any community. So we need to return to the old model, and embrace the model of immigrants. In a few years, black people will come up and be equal.

I don't know if the issue was because we wanted to integrate just for the sake of doing so or that we wanted fair and equal treatment and integrating was the only way to do this.

You have some good ideas, but you are posting this on the wrong site. All you're to get from the anti-black, white and asian crowd here on CD are a bunch of negative racist comments and generalizations about black people.

That works for me.

Buy your new town.

I hear Detroit is cheap.

It's probably closer to the latter. The truth was we would have done better to simply fight for equality within segregation. Once things became economically equal, people would integrate on their own, especially among the poor of all groups.

Maybe. I would like to hear quality opinions from everyone, those who will take time and look at the topic.
