They have been talking about making a rule to end the oldest son rule for awhile. Seems to make sense in as much sense as a monarchy (albeit limited one) makes.

Point taken. But the fact is that she does have influence to people in her country and commonwealth of nations. It's especially true in that you wouldn't expect someone of her generation to be embracing that kind of change.

Her opinion is important. It carries lots of weight and influence in the world. People do listen when she speaks.

I am not sure how much weight her opinion really carries, but maybe you are right. Regardless, this is a no news bulletin which really won't have a huge inpact, but it will give a few something to talk about for a few weeks.
