Thank you for pointing out the obvious ploy. When the ploy fails, they'll say, "see, we had a plan and the Dems turned it down." That's the only purpose.

Some things never change...... The mainstream Republican posters will have to work hard to find a way to justify it.

Agreed. The democrats have been the kings of spending. However, the republicans have been the barons which have supported such measures, all in an effort to maintain control in office.

Throw them all out. We need term limits, laws barring corporate lobbying, and a constitutional balanced budget amendment to smoke these rats out.

Some of you never cease to amaze me.

You post comment after comment whining and crying about what this bill does and doesn't due yet after reading all of your ignorant post it is clear you did NOT read the attached article.

I am NOT going to bother to tell you what the bill ACTUALLY says. you aren't worth the effort.

Read it for yourself.

The CR doesn't mean much in the big picture. Let's see what happens when the House and Senate pass their budgets and then have to reconcile the two. That's going to be very difficult.

You now understand why Ron Paul was silenced and soon Rand along with Ted Cruz.

Not "conservatives"...Republicans. There is a difference, especially with regard to spending. We have Rs that are as bad as many Dems.

I agree with you on drunken spending.

Except that when the Reps controlled the WH and Congress they spent more than the Dems.
