Yes. I agree. BUT if there is no other way, then at least you have the knowledge and ability to minimize the threat.

Easier said than done. Yet another bullying incident from yesterday. (Again I have not watched it.)

Yes, I always think that you should defend yourself - to the best of your ability. IF there are two boys punching on one boy - chances are the two against one are going to win the 'fight'. At least in the real world that is often how it goes down.

All I am saying is this is not a liberal vs. conservative issue - at least not in MY world.

Fights happen. People try to defend themelves. Sometimes they are successful. Sometimes very bad things happen that were unintended. Do I believe that these two boys intended to kill the 12 year old? No, I don't. But - that IS what happened. A schoolyard fight turned into a death and most likely the parents are NOT just going to go away.
Well we do know what did happen and it wasn't good. Two against one somebody else might have jumped in to help and whupped em all too. Standing there waiting for the teachers to show up to save you got this one killed sadly. Who's next?

Nobody said it was easy. Let's face it.... There are some evil people in the world. Why not be prepared?

Ugh. You, of course, would blame anyone but the perpetrators. Do you think those little thugs were liberals ?

How can a 12yo be a liberal? They aren't even old enough to vote yet. Don't worry the teachers are doing a good job indoctrinating em though. They figured out how to take advantage of others to get their way. This time it just backfired as the kid hit his head. Where were the anti bully police? Do you know? Do you care? The kid did what he was told by the anti bully police and is dead now. If he fought he would have been punished. That is the boat you put this child in liberals.

You're so predictably pathetic in your world-view.

Reality is pathetic in the eyes of liberals. Stick with your utopian dreams and leave the rest of us alone.

This is an easy case.

The boys will be charged with manslaughter.

Causation will be easy to establish; the head injury caused a concussion which led to neurological deficits, ending in death.

They'll be remanded to the juvenile authorities in PA until they're 21, and then will be released.

Blaming the anti-bully police doesn't mean he isn't blaming the perpetrators. If a cop gets a call and doesn't respond and someone gets killed, that doesn't mean the murder isn't guilty. You can hold more than one person responsible for something at the same time. One person for doing it, and another person for not stopping it.
