I don't know who to more pissed at...the thug that shot the kid, the gangster desciple who put them in that situation, or the woman who had a kid with a gangster disciple who now wants sympathy.
The fact that the father may even refuse to provide any information and cooperate makes him just as culpable imo.
Just par for the course, these salient facts will be brushed aside. Jesse will speak at the funeral and blame guns.
The mother was also shot while carrying the child....
