I think black voters shouldn't support either party.

P.S. I already asked but you didn't answer - have you been to San Francisco? I am actually familiar with that exact motel, and it's in one of the WORST parts of the city. Most of the motel employees there also happen to be foreign (usually Indian or Middle Eastern), so I'd wager the owner isn't really "liberal" or "conservative" by our standards. Finally, all we have to go on is one person's word... might be true, might not. Who knows? If it is true, obviously that is despicable behavior from anyone on either side of the political fence.

So, third party - or should they not vote at all?

Obviously, all of SF is not left leaning, but much of the area is. I can't believe that you would even try to refute this. Again, this is about liberal environments vs. conservative environments and the fact that at the end of the day, both groups typically feel the same way about blacks.. LOL

When one thinks of liberal environments: NYC and SF definitely come to mind. When one thinks of conservative environments, cities in TX, SC and Alabama are often mentioned.

Maybe you think they should have their own "black" party - you know, similar to having their own water fountains and restrooms of times past?

Personally speaking, I don't think votes mean much in this country anymore. It's all one big farce to make people believe that there are choices.

More people need to work within their own communities to bring about real change, instead of relying on any political system and/or party.

Agreed. I'll guarantee that MOST "liberals" would quickly change their minds IF the HAD to live in a nasty area, regardless of the race of the people living in that area. Yea; I just said it: PWT, Black hood rats, drunk rowdy Indians and Hispanics.

Yes, I've been to San Francisco and I hated the left leaning politics and the general vibe. I also strongly dislike Berkeley, because it has the same feel, with the same type of liberals. Needless to say, I stayed in Oakland.

I'm a black man and, you said the store clerk searching Mr Whitaker was illegal. You base this on? Specifically what? Because I'm here to tell you, it wasn't illegal and is just another "well I heard" BS statement.
