Newton's theory was that objects attracted each other. We call that force 'gravity.' Later, Einstein showed that mass causes curvature in space-time, and those objects simply take the shortest path across this curvature if there are no forces (like an Electro-Magnetic force). In other words, gravity went from being a force, to not being a force at all. Just goes to show you how even the most rock hard theories (just look at all the accurate mathematical predictions Newton's theory gives) can be so wrong.

I didn't repeat myself. If someone else encountered a glitch, it has nothing to do with me.

I don't buy parodies(intelligent fallling) nor fairy tales(theory of evolution).

I do buy scientific theories(Newtonian gravity) and truth(the Bible).

Thank you.
Only if they believe in sciencism.

You are using the "-ist" in a specific way. I told you it was offensive. You asked why, I explained why, nicely. And you still have to behave like a jerk.

You're adorable. The bible is truth? Sounds like a positive assertion, my friend. You'll have to prove it.

The "glitch" was introduced by weltschmerz.

That seems rather contradictory.
Because it explains the observable phenomena comprehensively and coherently. Nothing contradictory about it. And since you want to bring up contradictory, let's talk about you and your acceptance of "microevolution", but your dogmatic and contradictory insistence that you don't accept evolution. As if microevolution weren't evolution.

What is "sciencism"?

Now you are just playing with semantics(quite apart from your typo error).

One can buy into 'science' as a mechanism for understanding our world. But these days "Scientific Realism" is dead amongst Physicists. Any theory formulated is treated as some sort of nifty trick that produces accurate results but that doesn't really say how the world really IS.

One big shift, like I said, was from Newton's Gravity to Einstein's space-time. Most people in this conversation have been casually bringing up Gravity as if a Gravitational Force exists, it does not. Einstein showed Newton profoundly wrong.

Micro-evolution occurs - no serious thinker denies that.

There is exactly zero evidence for macro-evolution.
