Remember the small pox vaccinations as children? This is how small pox was eradicated- no host- no disease. We have a population which lacks immunity to a disease which wiped out the Indian population on the east coast from the 1600s-1700s, creating one of the worst "biological catastrophes" in the US. The Aztecs were similarly defeated by small pox.
Quite a weapon. It was a "WMD" long before nukes. If such an "attack" is suspected, the small pox vaccine should be re-initiated for the population, making that 'weapon" useless. We all used to get it; perhaps it is time to re-introduce that with the DPTMMR combo.
