First - reduce the direct Pentagon staffing by ALL the armed services by 75%. No way do they need all those officers running around as coffee carriers and file clerks. Also end ALL personnel contractors, military and civilian. The civilian jobs can be done by direct hires and the military jobs by regular soldiers.

Second - cancel all Federal payments to all the Red states before anything else. That will put the direct pain on the people that created the sequester in the first place.

Third - cut all foreign aid to the Middle East. Those people hate us anyway and you cannot buy friendship so let them settle their own differences.

You would say the same thing about Bush, correct? His last 2 years in office, the democrats had both the house and the senate. And Obama had the same for his first couple years.

During those two years, the House had a 31 seat control and the Senate was basically break even. Not really any form of sweeping control for the Democrats during that time. If anything the Democrats were able to slow the damages the Republicans had done for the past 6 years before that.

Obama wasn't president between 2006-2008, also during the first year of Obama's term was the effect of the previous president, much like the first year of the Bush era was the effect of the Clinton Era.

Through Reagan? Why stop there. Oh, I know, it's because when Reagan took office the debt was 1 trillon, and he tripeled it, meaning he alone spend twice as much as all presidents befor him combined.
