I thought the world's opinion of the U.S. was supposed to skyrocket after that criminal Bush left office and the great black hope Obama took over? What happened there, Libs?

Who cares what the rest of the world thinks. They suck too and everyone else has their fair share of haters. Here is the big middle finger to them all and am now commencing to carry on.

People around the world used to respect the U.S. Most envied us. Many even feared us, which kept us safe.

That's no longer the case. Now they laugh at us, and for good reason.

It isn't just Obama (although that's a big part of it now). It wasn't just Bush. It's all of Washington, D.C., and it's all of the rest of us too. People here can't even have a conversation anymore without resorting to finger pointing and name calling. Look at this thread for a perfect example. We act like a bunch of kids (who were poorly raised). People in other countries have TV, radio, newspapers, magazines. They know that our country is split right down the middle on almost every single issue and how juvenile we are about every little thing. Do you think anyone in the Middle East gave a crap that Palin's daughter had premarital sex and then went on Dancing with the Stars? The liberals here talked of nothing else for years! Do you think anyone else cares how often Obama plays golf or whether Michelle actually tends that big garden she had planted out back of the White House? Of course not, but conservatives here act like that's the most important thing going on.

Wake up, America! People are unemployed in record numbers. Families are losing their homes. Our schools are a mess. We're writing checks that we know won't clear. Our country is in a ever inreasing downward spiral (thanks to both parties). We need leaders that will stop trying to blame their counterpoints and focus on fixing things — not making them worse just to prove a point. And we need citizens who will grow up and pay attention to what's really going on.
