Your troll-fu is weak.
I've been using the term Neo Prog for several years; this website has a search feature, use it. If there is a Neo Con, than logic dictates that their must be a Neo Prog. They're both extremely dangerous to our freedoms and liberties.

So, I'll ask you again, why do you support a HUGE Government Industrial Complex? Where does your blind faith in the government come from?

It reminds me of this comedian who claims that conservatives created a virtual world. They believe in fabricated fantasies. Like Obama coming to their small town, to forcefully take their guns away, or that the US military will be under control of UN. The President will no longer be commander in chief after sorrendering our military. Or that today we are a socialist country, but in a few weeks the US will become one communist nation (under God).

Please, I've never taken anything from the govenment that I haven't earned. I've never taken unemployment benefits, I'm not on medicare because it sucks, and I told the VA to go f*** themselves.

The "stupid" people are the ones who pidgeonhole others, you know, assuming something about a group of people based upon an untrue premise. A lot like your thread.

Yeah it's a total strawman to say that progressives support big government.

Actually if you look up what neocons are and where they came from it there is no logical requirement for there to be neoprogs. It's not like day and night or hard and soft or anything like that. Neocon was just a term to describe newer conservatives who supported a different set of ideas than traditional conservatives did. Traditional conservatives were small government isolationists. Neocons supported using bigger government and taking an active role around the world in opposing communism. Of course now it is terrorism rather than communism. So there's no logical necessity for people to arise on the left to support different ideas just because people on right did. There may be neoprogs but logic doesn't dictate there has to be. It doesn't break any kind of symmetry for there to be neocons but not neoprogs. The traditional liberals were Blue Dogs and the new movement was Progressive. So really the logic you're using would say the progressives are "Neo Blue Dogs" because the progressives themselves are the new ones.

Your attempt to ridicule instead of answer the question is weak. Liberals in 2013 support bigger government and more government control over the private sector and social values than liberals in 1973 did, and more than conservatives do. Denying that is pure fantasy.
