They could if governmemt wasn't confiscating money from people to use for the same purposes that these private donors and organizations would voluntarily use the cash for if they were allowed to keep it instead of handing it over at gunpoint to the inefficient and ineffective government.
What do you think people should have before they have kids? Take my situation. I am in grad school and my gf is in undergrad. If she became pregnant should she drop out and take care of the kid or have an abortion and finish school.

Even if there was no welfare program the gov would still not be able to pay the bills. SS and medicare are completely underfunded.
The problem with prolifers is they think others believe that a fetus is a child and abortion is horrible but do it anyway becaues they are selfish. They can't fathom that people DON'T think it's a child at 9 weeks gestation. They think prochoicers are happily killing babies when they actually have all sorts of differing ideas about personhood but are united only by the fact that THEY can't life anyones life for them. They don't try. Prolifers seem to think they can or should live other peoples lives. It's never going to happen people.
I guess you like paying more for your insurance, most don't but all our rates have gone up getting ready to deal with the new rules.
