The writing is on the wall with this bill. Democrats realize this is a losing issue going into the 2014 elections.

Way to go Harry. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

Reid has history with the NRA and won't set himself up to be the bad guy.
It's all about the votes and even Reid knew that.

He let Feinstein go on and on but when it came down to it he couldn't let it go forward as head of the Senate.

Dirty Harry Reid was supported by the NRA. He was never for this ban.

Reid is saving his own behind, that's all. Still boggles the mind that Nevada can't find someone to run against and take out that man.

I am not surprised. As I have repeatedly said, this is not a partisan issue. I know a lot of Democrats who are just as much ardent supporters of the Second Amendment as any Republican. Feinstein and her ilk are a minority in Congress. May it ever remain so.

We have come real close a couple times. Vegas saves him every go. Grr. The guy is an eel. This is a north vs south NV battle. Vegas has a huge influx of tranzplanted CA liberals to add to the voting base. The more sparsley populated north, where I live, is night and day to the south.

Mores the pity. I find the pics of Feinstein, in the article, amusing. Groping those AKs like they are loaves of bread. The first one shows her holding that folding AKM, 75 round drum in place, bolt closed, and her finger through the trigger guard. Impressive safety midset. The second one is just as good. Fumbling around trying to get a mag in place with the muzzle pointed at her head. Yea....she knows all about firearms handling. Such a great spokesperson for gun control. Sheesh.
